My flight leaves tomorrow night. I will be in contact with everyone once I land in Germany.

Wright, I need to talk to you.

It has been exactly a month since my last entry. Well, perhaps more than that, thanks to the Nexus and the different way time passes there than in my world.

Wright earned an acquittal. That nightmare is more or less over with. Just to make sure, I intend on seeing to Gant's execution as soon as possible. There are still a few loose ends to tie up, but I will be heading in for review of my work performance once more.

Detective, you have your rank once more. Don't do anything foolish to make me regret that.

Working with the court system after yet another 'absence' (as unwelcome as this last one was) had reminded me of how pointless some trials can be. It is no fault of anyone, really. I just am not where I should be in my career.

Which is why I have decided to return overseas. Possibly to Germany, as despite the regrets I may hold for my past, I cannot deny the fact that it exists. Might as well use that to an advantage.

I will still appear sporadically in the Nexus, and even more once I become accustomed to the jet lag that will follow. I will be leaving next week.

It's a quiet night. The streets of Los Angeles are busier in the crowded sections, but for the most part everyone's staying indoors. It's rather humid out tonight, although the coordinates given are those that lead to right outside the police department. One of the people who are sent to the police department is given a key card, which gives them access to everything if the situation arises from it.

A list of items is requested from inside, and a bottle of Luminol is one of them.

Firstly, even though this only really affects Mia, I'm changing Pess from a shiba inu to a collie. Because I found fanarts that will become an icon and is totally adorkable so yes. We'll just retcon the shiba, and stick a collie instead (even the plushie Mia bought Edgey will turn into a collie). Fair enough? Fair enough. Pess is going to be making an appearance soon in the Nexus anyway, so I just wanted to make this clear.

Alright! So, next step in the Gantplot: Investigation tiem!!
